Failed Stabilizer bars

Ya I guess I should get a new stabilizer for that side. Seems like a weak link in the system.

I think I would talk to the dealer about upgrading to a larger stabilizer bar from a larger tractor for those of you with bent/ broken. If the warranty doesnt cover it, I for sure wouldnt buy the same size that broke. If I couldnt buy one heavy enough to keep from breaking, I would fabricate my own or get a shop to do it if you arent equipped to do it. You could use the existing one for a pattern and just beef it up . Rectangular tubing and flat bar would work for this. Some tractors use that material rather than round stock.

I agree with Gary don't buy original, beef it up. Luckily with my 7010c I haven' t had any issues and I bush hogged a 5 acre area with an abundance of 4" diameter plus hardwood trees and the stabilizers are fine, but I had to beef up and reweld the perimeter welds on the feed end of my new land pride bush hog because one pass is just not sufficient when you are ramming 4" plus diameter hardwood thru the hog.
