The town closest to us, Bryan, TX, has an ordinance limiting sound intensity. In a recent 4 hour "thumper" patrol they issued 17 citations. Good work!

I know what your are talking about and these pictures brougt back to memory the intersection accident that I was involved in back in 1970. I was responding to an emergency, code 3, when a Corvette ran the red light and hit me in the front left fender. I saw the car comming at a high rate of speed as I entered the intersection and I just stopped dead and watched as it came closer. Had I not stopped, we would have been hit broadside. Have you tried one yet? I bought one at Home Depot and it's in use everyday. Really cool top that keeps the flies and dust out of it. My wife barely has time to wash it. Too bad there's no cup holder made that big. I got the 52oz.

Those idiots that try to "make the light" really have me freaked out. Some of them fly through the intersection about 4 seconds after your light goes green. And once in a while its theose kids in them hopped up Honda Civics, flying by (you've seen those kind that invest heavily in body work, tires/wheels, and engine tweaks like in the "Fast and Furious" movie).
I used to "gun it" when it turns green, but no more; too many close calls.

Even better - last night I was driving behind a guy in a tricked out Civic. He was all alone in the car. And watching the dash mounted TV.

I saw a neat failure to yield once. A brand new Turbo Carrera thought a rusty old pickup should vacate the land. He was wrong - the cars 'kissed' and stopped each with 2 wheels in the air - passenger side for the Porche, driver side for the pick-up! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
