. Workers suspected of slow analytical ability should not be assigned to complex tasks.
You don’t say? This is brilliant analytical thinking right here. I am going to implement this at my business immediately. The boss is going to love this idea. Thanks!

Excuse me I didnt mention such a thing but if you are curious about my thoughts on this, I will tell, you wont like it.

If low IQ was a common thing in rural life, city people would starve.

What is the reason behind farm accidents ?

"Low IQ scores in early adulthood were associated with a subsequently increased risk of unintentional injury. A greater understanding of mechanisms underlying these associations may provide opportunities and strategies for prevention"

Although willpower and choice based accidents may be independent of IQ levels, still in order to secure the work in the widest scope, it should be aimed to minimize the multitasking distribution as much as possible to minimize the accidents based on the lack of analytical ability due to low IQ levels and choice mistakes due to physical fatigue. Warnings written in an effective language that triggers the right way of thinking should be posted all over the farm to ensure that workers are constantly reminded. Workers suspected of slow analytical ability should not be assigned to complex tasks.

My response to this post would most likely get my fingers slapped and the post closed,
I was thinking I had seen similar drivel someplace else on here so I looked at this posters other posts.
I do believe that he needs to be talked to as you would a Missouri mule.

I’ve been waiting for a thread like this. My wife said; “ You need to read much and type little”. Now I can put wisdom into practice. ;)

An IQ test is different than a mechanical aptitude test or good ol common sense. I know VERY smart people that wouldn't know which end of a shovel to hold and I know VERY good farmers that know very little other than farming. I find nothing wrong with either people because it is up to me to decide on what I believe from either person.

A smart person learns from your own mistakes while a wise person learns from other's mistakes.

I just ended up deleting my posts in the tiny home thread figuring it wasn't worth it ;)

My grandfather attributed this quote to an unknown person who was kicked by a mule: "You just have to consider the source".
That's all I have to say about this.

You’ve never worked on a farm and that opinion is rather worthless on the topic. Try spending the time reading the 500 page owners manual on a machine with a thousand moving parts. Now multiply that times 10 because farming requires a lot of machinery.
I know a lot of very smart people in farming and also repairing the equipment.
Yes, it’s physically fatiguing, yes it’s mentally straining, yes there’s lots of powerful moving objects, yes the pay is relatively low.
Throw that all together and see how you do. I bet you tap out in less than a day.

It is an indicator of one's reasoning abilities. This shows their success in remembering and associating the information they have to reach a logical conclusion.
Thank you for starting a useless thread riddled with errant assumptions. I have now identified another individual who I will ignore and thus help me more quickly find posts from others that have reasoning abilities and reach logical conclusions.
