Well, i go it broke in 2 pieces and took the clutch pack off evrything looked good. I'm just wonderig if when i put it back together i put it back with everything in right, or facing the right way. Both of the clutcheswere facing towards the rear. the only thing i'm concerned about are th:eek: e concial shaped disc. I looked to me the can only face one way But...... What i need is a diagrahm of the indivuadual parts so i can tell what goes where an how it faces. i did notice a few things that weren't lets say consistent. Going to try to find something today on that. I belive i;ve seen a parts break down somewhere. OR if any of you could tell me or have photos.
My clutches looked ok, don't know about the concial disc or springs as you are calling them. couldn't take pictures last night it got to late when i laid everything out. any help on how everything goes back will be nice.

how about this

fig 4-1,
is connection- controlled dual stage clutch. It manly consists of three parts:
Driving part, driven part, and controlling part. Driving parts rotates with the engine flywheel: only when the clutch engages can the driven parts rotate with the engine.

Dual stage clutch should be adjusted on a fixture. The adjusting steps are as follows:

Adjust the length of the adjusting bolt to make the distance between 3 release levers (19) and the end faces of the PTO clutch pressure plate (4) is 96.8 mm, and the difference between 3 release levers and the PTO clutch pressure plate is no more that 0.1 mm
this was from the page, but it doesn't go far anough, or explain all the adjustment needed.

Richard, make sure you check the fork that pushs the throw out bearing very close, it has a swell pin in it that can and does shear and the fork will look like it's working but it will move. This is very important because it will also make your adjustments change all the time.
This fork should be ridgid on the shaft you can test it with the tractor apart, if you need more details give me a call at my Houston Office 713-464-5521

AND one more question. whats the trick to re-installing the driveshaft for the 4X4 to the transmission housing. theres 5 or 6 ball bearings and some kinda of washer. Grease?? to keep the bearing in place when you pull back on the spring??? that was a pain in the rear last time and i only got 4 of them back in:confused:
