I purchased this tractor along with a trailer on ebay. (mistake) dont get me wrong i love the tractor but before i got my trailer the fly by night operation closed up. so there goes my customer service he promised me parts if i needed them now im outta luck. i went to a local dealer and he wants nothing to do with me because i didnt buy it from him. cant even get a lens from him. never got manuals and now im getting my remainder of my money for the trailer $10 a month thanks to the local sheriffs dept. i called homier a few times and they left me on hold or never got back to me. So this is the first support ive had for this tractor. I really appreciate it and if you have any other suggestions i would like to hear them. The links you already directed me to were great thanks again.

Wow, sorry to hear about your bad ebay experience. There are good and bad I guess everywhere. You'd think he would have just delivered the tractor and trailer together. Legbreaker that post JOHNS posted is to the cluitch adjustment info I wrote up a year or so ago. if you need any more info from that which is posted drop me a line, the clutch adjustment is not too hard but you need to make sure you do it very carefully and keep the fule cut off as well as being carefull.

On my last tractor (Chinese) i smelled clutch plate at times and swear it was slipping. I removed the rectangular inspection plate and looked in using the brightest flashlight that I had. I noticed the the pin that held one of the arms used to depress the throwout bearing had just about worked its way completely out of the assembly. I used a magnet tool and quickly located the cotter pin still in the bottom of the housing that had never been bent over from the factory.

Using a piece of 1/2 rebar and a hammer I was able to gently tap the pin back home and I used a long pair of needle-nosed pliers to place and bend the cotter pin so that it would stay in place.

I never had a minutes worth of problems with that clutch after that simple repair. It could have been a lot, lot worse.

I had trouble with the clutch in my Agracat 2920 (Jinma 254) after I picked it up with only 8 hours or so. It turned out the pivot pins were all corroded and stuck. It took a couple of hours to slowly work each pin loose with penetrating oil and a small ball peen, tap tap tap! After I got all the moving parts free it worked like a champ and hasn't slipped a bit since. I figure salt air from shipping and possible water leaking into the housing through the small inspection plate opening allowed moisture to accumulate and not dry out easily. I also drilled a 3/16" drain hole underneath the bell housing to get rid of all the accumulated oil spray and allow any further water that might enter a path out.

So far so good, before the clutch would slip if I even tried to load the bucket, now I can push over 8" trees without any slippage.
