Looks to be in good shape. Too bad we're not closer, I enjoy helping out on projects like that.

Similar, but not identical. The draft controls for example - and draft levers for that matter - operate on different principles. And not all Jinmas (I don't know about yours) were outfitted with that one-way hydraulic fitting on the side either. Probably not a good idea to assume that a Foton is going to work like a Jinma.

I didn't feel really comfortable about it either, so I'll cut it out.

Foton FT404 FEL

These are pictures of our FT404 which have 2 pair of QD fittings, plus a single one-way pipe also with a QD fitting.
As you can see, the leftmost pair is connected to the FEL hydraulic tubes. In order to operate the FEL, while sitting in the driver's seat, you must lock the leftmost corresponding lever in open position with eg. a rubber cord shown on the second photo. But in order to operate the rear 3 pt hitch, you must disengage the rubber cord and put both valve levers in mid position. That's how the hydraulics works on our set up. The advantage is that mounting/unmounting the FEL hydraulics is simply by disconnecting the two hydraulic hoses.

Now I see your Koyker FEL is directly plugged into the tractors hydraulic system, with either parallell or serial connections to the 2 pairs of QD fittings. Does controlling the 2 pairs of QD work? Those people who mounted the Koyker loader should know. Your way of mounting the hydraulics for the FEL is better than ours, so I'm interested in your results, as it will enable me to free up one additional set of QD fittings.

As far as the hydraulics go, I have the two remotes on the rear that work perfectly...used them today with my 8 ft pick up disc. The loader hydraulics work great as well...Normal speed when lifting and lowering, and no jerking action, but to dump the bucket and retrieve it is a little slow...I can deal with that.

What I can't deal with is this 3 pt hitch not working right. Tonight I took the diverter valve bolt all the way out...it's close to 4 inches long and has about an inch and a half of thread on the end with a build up next to it with two o-rings seperated by about an 1/8 of an inch, then the bolt tapers back down to normal size. I tightened it until the built up part was flush with the outside of the reservoir...The lift would go down at that point and would go back up, but would not lift me...So I slowly adjusted the bolt in and kept trying the lift from time to time...no luck...Can you guys think of anything else I can try?
