Farm UTV's.....Mule or Ranger...or other?

Yep. And unless you replace those little ATV tires on your Rhino my Jeep will go thru terrain you can't touch. And we have miles of it here. :)

Not my Rhino. Belongs to the County Sheriff's SAR unit. It is used to go where we can't take our Jeeps.

I do not own a side by side. Only a Jeep Wrangler. But I use both on SAR missions so I know the limitations of each platform.

What is that and where are they sold in the states?

These are imported from Japan.
They have a category of vehicle size called "Kei" means light. They are about 10'6" in length. 4WD. Some of them have dif lock. Dump bed is one of option available.
I import those for sale. All come with legal import documents and bill of sales. They are street legal in many states in US because these are 25 years old or older and exempt from DOT and EPA regulations. Can be tagged and titled. Unfortunately NC DMV is not issuing a tag and a title for these since last summer. Hoping this will get solved soon. There are few dealers throughout in USA selling them.

I've wheeled at Rausch Creek, one if the United States premier offroad parks, and I've been there in the snow. Half of the place is blocked off and the half we were on was scary as **** in 37x13.5 Copper STT Pro tires aired at 8psi. Sliding sideways to my death was a fun thought on some of the trails. I do run a full cage in my JK, but even that can only take so many rolls down a rock covered cliff before it deforms.

I'm glad that your real proud of your Jeep(s). One day you should come and try out some rock bashing with me. Speed crawling is fun as heck! It's really hard on body, frame and mechanical parts though

I'm not the one bragging about my Jeeps. We don't have $70K invested in all four. :)

Just saying a stock work configured UTV is no match for a Jeep.

Yep. And as you said they each have their purpose.

There are several similar units around here. As long as they are being used for Agricultural purposes they can be driven on public roads. Very handy.

Well....I went with the Mule 4010 Trans. For the work aspect this should be perfect, with the back seat folded up the dump bed is HUGE!

I looked at the FXT but decided I could use the $3500 savings to buy some implements and I didn't need the extra power.

Here's a quick picture.....it was pouring rain which made for a wet trip. I would normally have backed it on the trailer for weight distribution but the dealer said not to tow backwards in the rain because the exhaust vents would have rain forced into them. It towed fine but would have been better if I could have gotten more weight on the front.

Thanks for all the input, I'll report back in when I get it over to the farm and put it to use.

Owned a Mule 3010 for 12 yrs. Now have the Mule Pro FX that was bought in 2016. So far it has done well and is an essential part of the work that I do with bird dog training.

Think you will really enjoy your Mule. Good luck with it.

I bought a 2016 4010 Mule and have been very pleased with it. Power steering, sun top, headache rack. I added a winch and elec/hydraulic bed lift. I like how easy it is to get in and out of and I can stand up in the cab (5 ft. 6). the size of the cargo box, the construction of the vehicle, and the price/ 3 yr. warranty is what sold me on it. I wanted a Can Am Defender H8 but the dealer didn't have any and my 2nd choice was the Mule(3rd choice was 6X4 diesel Gator).
