Farmall Super A Rear Rim sizing

My super a has 11.2x12.4x24 rear tires and needs a new rim on left side. I found a super a I can cannibalize but it has 8" rims. My 11.2 tire says on it that it goes on 10" rims.
Can I put the 8" rim on and still use my 11.2 tire? Would rather spend 75 on an older rim rather than 300 on a new one from steiner.

The same size tire on different width rims will sit and be visibly different.

What width rim is on yours now..?? I'll assume 9". You might check some salvage yards for rear rims off a 100,130, or 140 Farmall. Or, if yours isn't too awful bad, have it sectioned by a weld shop or DIY.

One rim on my 140 had rusted out around the valve stem hole. I cut out the bad and filled in with weld with my MIG welder using multiple passes, then used a heavy 5/8" washer welded in for the valve stem hole.

Yes, it took me 3-4 hours to weld it up, and grind it off, and not perfectly on center on the outside but did not affect it other than looks. Sure beat $250-$300 for a new rim. And I preferred to keep the OEM loops so as to use the square head bolts.

I have read in some forums, possibly here that the loops didn't quite fit/match the holes in the wheels.

This is the same 9" rim with 12.4-24 tire mounted on my 140.
