just installed a new injection pump from circle g tractors did gears new to went by the limited instructions they gave me (they could use some help) so i got the tractor running but heavy smoke kept moving back and forth on slotted gear to where i felt it was running best it idles and revs up just heavy smoke i would say mostly whithish when it revs up will get puffs of black wondering if any one has tips on how to fine tune the timing do you do it by smoke or engine noise or what or is it just trial and error moving pump. (just thinking about it i guess i should check compression and cooling system pressure test i will do that tonight)checked coolant system held 20lbs for an hour think head must be ok dont have a compression gauge that doesn,t screw in will have to find one
