Remember that this can be read by anyone on planet Earth with internet access.

Correct me if I'm wrong. It's my impression that if anyone has important information concerning the Farmtrac mess that if they do a private message to you, TimC, Sess or Taxpayer that you all have the knowledge and dedication to help get the information to the proper entities to make the best use of it. Is that the best method: first do the Private message to be told how to communicate without leaving emails to trace?

Hello, everyone:

For those who are relatively new to this blog and need some quick primer to get up to speed, a web page with all The Daily Southerner coverage of the Farmtrac debacle is:

Bob44.com - Farmtrac

Ah, Rob, tell that guy to hurry up with the software.

Do you need money to hurry the software along? I have some change I could trade in and send you! Forget the change...I'll send you a pretty blue tractor! ;) SESS

Taxpayer sure hope you were up late dealing with the tex---- insurance adjusters. After watching the news and seeing tornado's in the Ozark's and South Louisiana(near my place) (surely alot of wind damaged tractors)grab the smoke from the wildfires in Florida (surely alot of smoke damaged tractors in central Florida) and throw it into the cold front from west texas and pour acid rain on all of the Southern States (surely alot of rain and flood damaged tractors). Some eye witnesses saw some particles in the rain that resembled cat litter and on futher investigation it was tex----- paper that had been converted to a better use as cat litter. Sure hope the adjusters have enough paper left to adjust the value of all those damaged tractors and since they do not have the Parts???? to fix them relieve the dealers of them and take them to salavage yards and auctions so that this problem can be settled once and for all. What's a few million dollars to a insurance company?Ah!!! was I just dreaming again?????

There has still not been any answer to this question..... WHAT GOOD IS A WARRANTY WITHOUT PARTS? HOW CAN TEXTRON PROVIDE A WARRANTY UNLESS TEXTRON ALSO PROVIDES THE PARTS TO FULFILL THE WARRANTY? IS EACH DEALER JUST LEFT ON HIS OWN TO FIND THE PARTS FOR THE ESCORTS TRACTORS FROM WHO KNOWS WHERE OR WILL TEXTRON PROVIDE THE PARTS? SOME PARTS CROSS OVER TO FORD PARTS, BUT NOT ALL.....WITHOUT ASSURANCE OF PARTS AVAILABILITY A WARRANTY IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON. THERE HAS TO BE A STANDARDIZED WAY OF ORDERING PARTS, OR ELSE THIS IS JUST A "FEEL GOOD" WARRANTY...TO MAKE THE CUSTOMER "FEEL GOOD" ABOUT HIS PURCHASE, ONLY TO BE TOLD AT A LATER TIME THAT THE WARRANTY WORK ON HIS TRACTOR CANNOT BE PERFORMED DUE TO LACK OF PARTS AVAILABILITY.

When I read the warranty paper work and it makes reference to "manufacturer parts"-what happens when we cant get a Farmtrac part and must use an OEM part or part from another distributor? Does that void that particular warranty work from being covered? or void any further warranty work because we did not use "manufacturer parts"? Just as each fax and letter before from Textron ,this warranty info has lead us to too many questions and still no answers. Are we getting any further ahead in this fight because it sure doesn't feel like it!? 4 months ago today, life as we knew it changed and it was not for the better. I know we are to have patience, but frankly I am tired of looking at these blue tractors collecting dust, dirt and taking up space!
