I am a fan of all products that prevent me from swearing as I work at a Monastery. :censored:
On that note, every time I have a threaded plumbing part apart, I lube them with Danco Silicone Grease where applicable. Always a great feeling when it unthreads easily the next time. Aerators pop back off by hand.
Same with anti-seize on my home projects.
Best wishes for Mrs. Tiller.

+1 for best wishes for Mrs. Tiller.

One Two notes on aerator installation: Add a little lube and I never tighten them beyond the point of leaking. If they're tightened much beyond that, they don't wanna come out. Same with shut off valves, never open all the way completely.

I have very hard water here. When my two aerators plug up, I put them in my ultrasonic cleaner with vinegar and it cleans them spotless. It takes about an hour to do it.

I don't over tighten them and I use hockey tape on my 6" Channellock if they are a little tight.

Update;
We were in the big city and our destination lead us past Menards so we stopped and picked up a new faucet, just in cast the old one fell apart.

So with the new insurance policy faucet in hand, we put a little more muscle into the water pump pliers.

Sure enough, it came right off with no damage to the faucet.

Then I was looking at a 40 mile round trip to return the new faucet or install it.

We installed it.
