Sports and nature shows are best on antenna, they don't compress the signal, so it's very sharp. I'm thinking of trying my hand at making another antenna tuned toward the stations im hoping to get.

I cant stand the "reality shows" especially since all the reality is faked or staged. I still enjoy all the NCIS shows even after 15 or so years. I also like the Smithsonian channel for their documentaries. During the summer hiatus, I like to watch the oldy reruns like Perry Mason, Matlock and of course a good western is always appreciated.
I hate to turn on a news channel now since it is nothing but "Trump did xxx". I am so tired of the biased news cast that I rarely look at news now. Our country is in deep doo doo when all our politician cant think for themselves and only vote the party line regardless of how ridiculous the situation is.

The other day, A friend insisted that the Government has a Database at the border that tells them where you work. Probably a floor plan too, with location of ventilation ducts!

Oak Island is another that I like, along with the similar vein spinoffs, Civil War Gold and Cooper's Treasure.
Quest TV sometimes shows episodes of Dangerous Flights, about ferry pilots and some of the issues they face, and Mikey McBryan posted on fb a while back about a possible resurrection of Ice Pilots NWT.

I liked all the Yukon Gold and Gold Rush stuff, more about the process, story and machines than the Drama. What ruined it for me is when I learned about the money behind the scenes. Like, what the characters make per show. Hoffmann could not even have afforded the Diesel in most of his ventures, if the story was true to depiction.

I watched Rust to riches on Netflix, about a resto shop buying, fixing, trading to get a big payoff. Interesting what they do with waterjet.

I don't watch pickers as I don't have Discovery. Apparently an army of people and vehicles is involved. The end footage is highly edited. Why can't anything really be REAL anymore?

Not current shows, but our favorite shows are the Red Green Show, CBC and Keeping Up Appearances, BBC. :laughing:
