You can never have "too many" guns /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Buddys are joking with me that since I got married two years ago, have a house and land payment now as well, I haven't been "buying 'em" like I used to /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Carried a .45 for a "long time".
Browning just "felt" soo much better.
I know all about the "debate" between calibers /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif.
Nice thing about the Browning is same "action" as the .45.
Have a .40, but with the ten, you have so many reloading options.
Shot placement is what it's all about. You can shoot 20 and miss or shoot one and make a hit.
Had a Smith 629 4" .44 mountain gun for out west for "big critter" protection (I know, yet another debate) and honestly, wasn't "fun" to shoot and after a couple of rounds I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it. I thought since shooting my buddies 6" with scope hitting out to a hundred yards, that 4" wouldn't be "bad", I was wrong, plus you'd be blinded if shooting at dusk or dawn.
That's one reason went to the ten millimeter. I figure if a bear is chasing me I'd be shaking like a leaf anyway trying to clean my pants so it may not matter /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
Saw that new Ruger .480? in a 2" or 3" barrel and thought boy, that would be a bugger to shoot. Nice looking gun though.
