When we lived way out in the boondocks, I had a couple go rounds with UPS. Their terminal was 50 miles from me, and the service was terrible. But I never had a problem with USPS or FedEx out there. Eight years ago we moved back to town and for nearly a year were in an apartment in a big apartment complex; many buildings with 6 apartments to each building. I had a fairly large box coming from New York via UPS. There came a day when their tracking system showed it had been delivered, but it had not been delivered to me. After 2 days of phone calls, I finally learned the driver just dropped it off at the apartment's office and neither the apartment managers nor UPS told us. But now we're back in town in a house and get very good service from all 3; USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Of course, when they deliver a package, they set it by the front door, ring the doorbell, and run for their truck. They can usually get in their truck and out of sight before one of us can get to the door.

Guess I'm lucky. Even though we are a bit from town, they all have been good to us. When it comes to choice, I like UPS ...

Funny I dont see the brown team reaching out to help on a tractor forum site.. social networks- like this one are the way the world is moving so why not get ahead of everyone and get in those sites and offer help? All compaines have issues, but its the way they work to handle those issues that makes them a house hold name brand.. But again I am a little partial to the purlpe and orange team.. They kinda helped me get my ORANGE tractor:thumbsup: enough of that I need some seat time!!

In my area, USPS usually hits the mark (except for the time the carrier decided we moved)
I learned that UPS and FedEx next day takes an extra day. The drivers are in a hurry, and when they see the dirt road (which is hardpan to our driveway, unlike most of the sugar sand roads in the area), they run for the highway. As long as I use second day, or ground, there isn't an issue. The ground guys know our area like the back of their hands.

Not sure-a lot of the customer service work all over? They will be back to you soon-not going to come on the forum and not reply back..

Both Fedex and UPS does well here. However, my wife pulled in behind the USPS lady the other day, who had a package to drop at our house, and she just threw it out the window onto the ground. My wife said something to her about it, and she said it was because of our dog (which was inside at the time). UPS and Fedex always puts packages on the porch when no one is home.

I had an UPS deliver over the weekend, where I had to return something in the same box. I put the label on, was walking into the UPS store, looked down at the label, and noticed it was a FEDEX label. I was sent the package by UPS, and the company gave me a FEDEX sticker for the return. At least they gave me the return shipping label.

If you own a company that uses UPS and has a shipping account, you might want to keep a close eye on your bills, as I know of one instant where a small company started noticing more money spent on shipping than was usual. Turns out somebody was either padding the bill or shipping somebody's else freight at this companies expense. UPS still hasn't answered why, but they did loose a customer.

I have seen that with Dell warranty parts. IIRC, it was a UPS same day or 2nd day delivery (replacement motherboard, NBD contract) and a Fedex Ground return label.

All these delivery companies have one thing in common.......... humans.

It all depends on the delivery guy, the UPS guy around us has been coming here for years and years, always great.

The USPS delivery, well I get random mail and a lot of my netflix go to other people to watch. Always get the "missed you" post cards.

Fedex, pretty good, sometimes get lost.
