FEL Boom Pole - Lift ?

It has been very handy, well designed and built. I don’t recall the exact total lift but it is around 20’. If you need the exact total I’ll hook it up and measure.

Jerry and Guy both built good looking attachments… I came across this one and figured it would be tough to improve on…

Sorry to all - I was not clear in my first post. I have had forks laying around for 3-4 years and just now getting around to making setup for FEL with forks. I do not intend to use the same frame & forks to attach a FEL mounted boom pole. Although JJordan's rig looks great it just does not work for me. RonJ & OlaGuy rigs look good too.

KennyV - You got what I want!! I will make separate frame that is quik attach and I want to fabricate and mount the boom pole to that. In other words 2 speparate frames, one dedicated to forks, one dedicated to boom pole for FEL. Kenny V if possible I would like your measurements on boom pole. Need it all!! Length of both poles & angles if possible. How tall does it lift ? Once lifted to max height how much clearance from load to frame at FEl. Just curious about how much does that nice rig cost? Just would like to know how much money I'm saving by building my own. I know that is a lot of info requested but would be really appreciated. I'll post some pics when I get the Forks & Boom Pole for FEL finished. Thanks to all !!!

I can give you a few measurements now but it will be after this wkend before I’ll be able to give you any exact angles, If you wish I will also attach it and get a few pictures that may be of more help. For now I can give you …

3.5 X3.5 Square tube… 7 foot and (I think at 45 degrees) 3 foot. Ends capped, welded.
Lift on my L4200/LA681 loader, with Quick-tach. 18’ 10”
Back rib is 2” X54” 3/8 plate
Gusset at boom 45 degree angle, 12” X 3” 3/8 plate
Skid steer bracket is 3/8” standard size.
With a 40” 3.5” X 3.5” square tube cross piece.
Boom is attached to plate at a few degrees from flat .. I’ll get a close up picture for you.
The distance from attachment plate will vary depending on position of bucket curl, (dump), but I will give you some measurements and a picture or two with that.
The price now looks like $645… check my earlier link to quality welding. I think I paid around $500-$550 with shipping. It weighs around 300 pounds as I recall. They at times have had these on Ebay.
