Can anyone tell how to correct a problem I have with a leak in the connectors on my FEL???

I have a B2150 / LA350A Loader. I removed the loader for the first time this weekend. But the connector/fitting on the tractor kept leaking fluid after I took off the quick connect connectors to drop the loader. Only one of them was leaking, but it leaked a LOT. All down on to mower deck. SHoudl I move the joy stick around to apply pressure on the connectors after I remove the hoses?

Anyone else have the same problem and/or a fix???

Thanks, Tim

Is the leak from the area of the nipple, or from the threads? If from the nipple area, try reconnecting the FEL hoses and see if it still leaks. Then disconnect again. I have had the O-ring (inside Hyd connector) get damaged or not seated correctly. Also - before I disconnect the Hyd couplings, shut off the engine and bump the Hyd Lever thru all positions to releave any pressure (can't be done w/engine running). Worst case is you might need a new coupling.

Let us know.

I've had two problems with faulty connectors. The first was the with a broken o ring in the quick connector. The second was with a permanent coupling near the bucket. In this case there was a slight split in the metal. You couldn't see the root of the problem from the outside, but the symptoms were impressive - under pressure UDT sprayed out all over the place. Without pressure there was just a slow drip. Good luck.

OK... I think I have to replace the fitting. But my local Kubota dealer can't come up with a part number for the LA350A Loader, Male Quick Connector on the Loader control valve.

ANy part experts who have this knowledge. Once armed with a part number I can start looking for someone who has it in stock.

Thanks all...... Tim

OK I went to the dealer, gave him the part number, BUT it was NOT the same connector. After some research I have discovered that the dealer who originally installed the loader must have used a different connector and NOT a Kubota part.

Why???? Who the H*LL knows, maybe it was cheaper.

Anyway. the connector is a Parker Hannifin Male Nipple
Part #H2-63. Now all I have to do is find THAT part.

Thanks to all for your help. Tim
