Found out what was wrong with my front end loader.. After I took off the backhoe the loader worked fine. Seemed I may of moved the three point hitch to a position that put a strain on the lift and and engine. It must of been strained and put a strain on the hydrolics and lift It seems to work fine now . Maybe this will help someone else out. Thanks for all of the help in trying to help. I will use this forum again..

You have to be careful with a position control 3ph that it's not set to a position it can't get to when something like a backhoe is installed.

That said, typically the loader valve comes before the 3ph and the loader operation wouldn't be affected by the distressed 3ph valve unless the loader valve is not plumbed as power beyond.

With what you said about PB port on loader control valve I just installed a LA 350 FEL on my L2500 DT and control valve has PB port.
The way I understand it is supply line feeds loader first then through control valve to PB port to supply 3ph.

Now on my tractor the supply line was going into 3ph and power steering.
I have tried everything to make this work right but no matter what i do loader is jerky on roll back and boom up. I have rebuilt both boom cylinders and rebuilt control valve checked all hydraulic lines and fittings.

At first I thought it was just air and after a couple days doing this and that I found that Hydraulic oil has a lot of air bubbles in the tranny case. Not real sure where this could be coming from.

everything I have read seems to lead to possible wrong hydraulic oil? fluid level is good so I know thats not the problem so not real sure.

If you have lots of air bubbles in the reservoir, then you probably have a suction leak, or the fluid is cavitating, making bubbles.

Re-tighten all clamps and fittings in the suction circuit.

I agree with JJ - look for an issue on the suction side. One quick check is to remove the suction line going into the pump to make sure the fluid flows freely to that point. (Have a clean bucket handy.) Any restriction can cause cavitation and the symptoms you are experiencing.

I will check all hoses and clamps on suction line and make sure O-Rings are not out of place or damaged.
Will check this coming weekend seeing I'm out of town this week.

With that said did I hook lines up right ?

Carl,
It's hard to say if it's hooked up right by your description. It looks like your tractor has a power steering priority valve. I think the loader valve should go between that valve and the 3ph valve. Take some pics and/or sketch a flow diagram and we can give some more meaningful feedback.

Can you give us a port by port series connection of the pump flow through which valve.

I suspect you have a splitter or need a splitter for the PS and the rest of the system. If so, then the flow would go something like this. Pump to splitter, then FEL, to remote, to 3pt.

Sorry for the delay but work kept me away longer

Off the Pump to feed FEL
Out of PB port on loader Valve to feed 3ph and power steering
Pressure relief valve on Loader control to reservoir

I just adjusted relief valve and got a lot of pick up power now but still lot of bubbles in system????
could it be pump cavitation causing this? I have put new seals and new hoses and clamps on suction side.
new udt fluid and cleaned filter ???
