I am looking for a control valve for a loader. I would prefer a single stick model that moves front to rear and side to side if anyone knows where i can get one please let me know.

Thanks
Jeff

Surplus Center has joystick valves (do a search for "joystick valve") and so does CCM. You will probably need an open center with power beyond valve. Your profile does not give us your tractor information so I cannot be more specific.

That's a 4-way 3-position SINGLE spool valve. It will work only one function, either up/down OR dump/curl. Your typical loader valve has TWO spools, one for raise/lower and one for dump/curl.

Don't confuse 4-way with up/down right/left. This thread will explain a little bit better.

I have also seen them on the shelves at TSC stores.

My loader is home-made i think. It was free so i took it.
The cylinders seem to be in good condition but the hoses and valve is weathered away. I sandblasted and painted it today and im in the process of building the mounts.

Yes, you can. I'm not sure on the hydraulic setup on your Yanmar and I can't see from the pictures as to how many hoses will connect to the valve. You have the 4 work port hoses that go to the cylinders. On on open center system you will have 3 more, pressure inlet, power beyond outlet, and return to tank. The configurtation of these 3 ( or maybe 2) hoses and your Yanmar's hydraulics will determine how the valve should be configured.

There are 4 lines going to loader and one pressure and one return on the old valve.

Then you do not need the power beyond sleeve for the joystick valve.
