The value of a "cherry" 8N is around $3,000...more or less. If you find a new loader and power steering add-ons, you are probably going to spend more than the value of the tractor on these pieces. My question to you (since you own and use an 8N) is: If you are going to spend $6,000+ on a tractor, wouldn't you be looking for another tractor rather than the 8N? This is one of my main "issues" with doing a retrofit loader. I would not even consider it on my Jubilee and I just wonder what you think about it? )</font>
If it was me, and I had the 6 grand to spend, Well, I still would probably not have a loader, but would have a nice MF 135 in the garage. Don't get me wrong, I realy like the N,[eaven more now that I don't have the plow on] but spend the money, and you still only have 25 or so HP, and non live PTO, and hydro.
