Front-End Loader FEL for TC30

Been lurking on off here for a while. You guys helped me decide on a NH TC30 4x4, HST, turf tires and I'm really getting some good use out of it. I'm working on getting our 10 acres ready to plant in grass for the horses and need to clear out brush and rocks. The brush is from the dozer guy clearing the fence lines and the rock is sandstone anywhere from 1" to 12" thick right at the surface.

I'm going to add a FEL with either add on brusk forks or bucket and wanted to get some advise. My local dealer has the NH7308 and the Rhino 2408 for approx the same price, $3990 installed in OK. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks

Well I can only say I have not had any problems with my 7308. It does have the heavy duty bucket.

If they're the same price I 'd go the the 7308. Make sure you get the heavy duty bucket. It has the rolled top and wear strips underneath. My dealer offered the Bush Hog brand loader as well. It was $800-$900 cheaper but I still went with the 7308. I did go with the Bush Hog backhoe though. I haven't had any problems with either one.

Thanks for your input. The reason I was considering the Rhino was that the dealer told me that it used a skid steer type mounting plate that would make it easier to mount a different type bucket or whatever else I needed. I need to get down there and take a look at each. Thanks again.

Check the load rating on your front tires. They may not have enough capacity for a loader. I know the 1910, 1710 and 2110 etc. models with turf fronts would have to be changed to a Skid loader tires (R4).

I was going to go over all that with the dealer. Tires, hydraulics, controls, and anything else I can come up with. Thanks for the input.
