Front-End Loader FEL grapple

Please send any pictures for you FEL homemade grapple so i can get a ideal on making one.I donot want to make a lower bucket just the top grapple.can email to ponyycar1@sbcglobal.net

Hopefully this is what you have in mind. Hydraulic hookup is the biggest part of grapple expenses. You probably can buy cheaper than you can make. I probably spent $850 for grapple, hydraulics and hoses.

I like the building in the background of the last pic. Any history to it?

The building is a log cabin that was built in year 1802 when the homestead for the farm was filed at the county court house. It is built over a running spring that exits at the end of the building so they could have water during indian attacks. It was also used to cool milk and food since it is cold year round. The county did some research on this and gave us a copy of the records. It also has a huge fireplace in the basement that was used for cooking as well as one on the first floor as well. It also has an upstairs used for sleeping. All buildings at the time were built of Chestnut wood which was growing all over. The blight has since destroyed all american Chestnut trees and they are no longer expect still to be found in these old houses

Agreed ! I think of him whenever i use my welder..... i bought it from him when he upgraded. I hope his family is doing well.

Wow, 1802 is a year we wouldn't find as a construction date around here. In fact we have very few buildings that can be found that have a construction year with "18" in front of the year period.
