I want to thank everyone for taking the time to post the great pic's and all the great info. This has really helped. I am mechanically challenged and over 65 so I know that I will either buy a tractor with a third function on it or have a dealer install one. I am going to have the SSQA had a pin on before (never again). I am going back forth on the dedicated grapple or bolt on. However, my brush piles are generally not that big. I have a phobia about even having to recouple hydraulic lines usually bad things happen to me.! Ps. I will not drill the holes for the add a grapple or bolt it on. I am certain I would end up with a swiss cheese looking bucket !

Adding a grapple will increase the odds of potential damage to your grill, radiator or battery. Check out the GRILL GUARD thread for ideas on how to modify your grill guard.
Never even thought of that . With my operator skills I am certain the front end of my tractor would look like a shish kabob with out added protection Thanks

The front grill may be the most vulnerable spot, but suggest you take a careful look whether the hydraulic lines are run underneath whatever tractor you are considering buying. Some of these lines and hydraulic filters are located in places where they could be vulnerable to damage if you don't protect them with guards.
