FEL how long 'should' bucked remain up when parked?

A shock absorber has gas in it,, not fluid,,
if you put fluid in a shock absorber, it would be ridgid,,,

Go fill your bathtub full to the top with water,,, then get in the tub,,,
does the tub remain full, or does it overflow?

The cylinder must "overflow" to somewhere other than the cylinder, if the rod enters.

I'm going to, or have, learned something here! I'm going to go delete my post about testing the cylinder as seen in the video.

If I'm understanding this correctly the only way to test the cylinder then is to extend it, open the port above the piston, close the port below the cylinder, apply inward/down pressure on the piston/rod and check for drift??

Never tried it. I always drop the loader down turn the ignition off and wiggle the joy stick to take off the pressure just something I learned years ago from an old farmer saying it is easier on the hydraulics system.

I learned that if you expect less snow you need to live farther South.
