I would grab it and lift into position. Get some help if needed. I move mine around all the time. It's not THAT heavy!

If I could clone myself I would lift it and put it on. Problem is that at 53 years of age everyone I know younger or older claims to have some infirmity that prevents them from lifting anything - or so they say :)

I'm 56 and all I'd need is an operator on the tractor that might do as I tell them. Like moving the lever side to side to roll the bucket back to being flat on the bottom. It might come most of the way on it's own. I can carry the boom but probably not the boom and the bucket. I think your arms might be up to high right now to connect, I'd add some wood under the forward lip under the top of the bucket to tip them down so you could hook up. Try pressing down on the loader arms and see what happens.

Ness - - I've done that with my BX22. N80 suggests what I did, except I had only one man, a moose of a man, pick up each arm of the FEL while I drove under it. Worked for me.

I have dragged it around a good bit and gotten it close, but the arms are curled just a bit too much and won't fall into the brackets all the way. They are pointing out to the front a bit too much. This may not be real clear in the photo. Once I get the bucket curled it will be easy to get the arms up in the air and lower them in place manually.

Maybe I'm missing something, but if you put the tractor in position to install the loader, then hook up the hydro hoses and start the tractor, if you move the joystick to the down (as if you wanted to raise the bucket) the attachment arms will extend the way they need to go. If you need the loader frame to raise, you can move the joystick to the left, with your bucket curled over the way it is, (as if you wanted to curl the bucket up) the loader arms will raise. Just move the loader joystick in the opposite direction to get the opposite reaction from the attachment arms or the loader frame, all this movement with slow engine speed of course. I'm turning blue from holding my breath, hope you get it hooked back up soon.:)

Milkman,

My sole problem is the length of one of the hoses. I do not trust myself to be gentle enough to not accidently rip it out. There is no slack to it at all the way things are right now.. I am going to have to wait until Saturday though to mess with it. Too many deadlines for work (self employed) to get at it now.. I will let you know though as soon as it is on.

To one and all who offered suggestions.

Well after a two week wait to get the time, and a weekend at home, I finally got the FEL back on. I went ahead and opened the line to the bucket piston and curled it back around. I then had the arms in perfect position but about 3 inches low. Put a small floor jack and a hunk of pressure treated under the front of the tractor and popped the arms right back into place. I still did not trust myself to hook up the hoses  so this seemed the easy way to do it. After the pins slipped back in problem over. Hoses hooked up and stands back up and I was good to go. Thanks to all for the great suggestions.
