Sure that would work especially since you wouldn't want to drill anything in the ROPS but if you can drill in out places the Quick Fist clamps are great and come in different sizes and styles.

Those look good, I might do one for a shovel on our Unimog. (Besides the obvious purpose of a shovel, a straight handle makes good for unclogging the chute.)

4shorts, have you ever tried a snow pusher? The only place I miss my plow on the tractor is long roads where I have to wing the snow back. It will clear a parking lot way faster than a fixed blade and it is quicker than my V plow. CJ

Last winter I almost had a deal made with a Quebec company to purchase a hydraulic expandable snow pusher but after much consideration I opted out because although the pusher would be faster in wide open areas such as parking lots it would be a hindrance in other areas where I use my angle plow and I use my angle plow a lot so I didn't like the trade off and stuck with using what I'm used to. The other issue I had with the pusher was the fact it had a steel blade and my blade is of a poly material and the wet snow don't stick to it.

A V-plow would be a very good option for you. You can do everything with them. I ran one for the last 8 years commercial and it was the best decision I made next to not plowing anymore!! I know you tractor would push a 9' V with no problem. CJ

I'm getting pretty tired of plowing snow. Up early and get back to base late. The V plow is a great system but the blade in have on my tractor is a Polly plow and its paid for many years ago. Wouldn't like to put another $5000. Into another snow plow.

I converted an old Meyers 80" wide plow to fit on my tractor FEL. Made my mount so that the blade sits as close to the tractor as possible....pretty happy with the mount. Put a corssover valve on it to reduce problems with catching a corner. It works pretty well in my limited use so far....plenty of power.....but it does push the front end of the tractor over with heavy snow. I have industrial tires.....and have considered adding chains for the front to help with the side push.

I hear ya, it is like being married to someone you don't like!! If, when I retire I will consider it again but for the time being no more. The only plowing I do now is myself, our local hall and push banks back with a large loader. I make more in one night with the loader than in a month of plowing. CJ
