I have a kl1595 loader on nk55 tractor. Bucket does not rollback very far past level. Not a hydrolic problem. Someone had the same problem but can't find out how he corrected it. He said he upgraded at his own expense but didn't say how. The cylinders do not retract fully, 2" of travel not retracting. Any suggestions.

Why dont the last two inches retract? what is it binding on? Pictures?

It's not binding, just talked to the dealer and he checked it out. He said the cylinder is topping out and nothing I can do except take it to a welding shop and shorting the bottom linkage. Not good

Is that a 4-bar linkage bucket?

Pics would still be great

These pics show bucket fully retracted with rhetoric joystick

Certainly don't look like the cylinders are fully retracted

The boom has marks where the bucket was hitting so it was moving all the way. Has to be something holding the bucket or the cyls. Unhook the cyls run in and out, if they do then put down psi on the boom cyls and see if bucket well come up. If all is ok then it has to be the wrong bucket. I know you said it's not hyds how did you come up with it's ok?

Yep, can clearly see that the bucket retracted all the way at some point.

You have a quick attach bucket. Take the bucket off and see if it will curl back farther. All the way back, should show no shiny rod on the cylinder.

That's the way that they were made at that time. Back then you could buy a retrofit kit but it was pretty expensive. If you take the quick attach off and run out the cylinders they'll break because you have the links at the bucket end which pull the cylinder down and bust the cylinder. I did this once and never did it again. You may want to reweld the bucket and add a couple of inches to the bottom of the quick attach plate on the bucket to give you more curl. Good look because it gets complicated.

Thanks for the info, was going to take the quick attach off and retract the cylinders, you probably saved me a lot of problems. Don't fully understand how welding an extension would help. Thanks for your help

Still take the bucket off and see if the cylinders retract all the way.

If they do, the bucket is binding somewhere. Report back
