FELL Bucket curls back very slow

On my tractors I made a modification to buckets and arms.

I "dumped" the bucket then came back about 1.5" or so with the bucket edge. I then welded stops to the arms that contacted the bucket mounting point. This effectively stops the bucket from "dumping" to the point that the cylinder reaches the maximum length. Until I did this, the bucket "dumped" until the cylinders reached maximum extension and they became the stop.

I did that and if I pull the lever a little, it does curl back faster. Not as fast and it normally does, but it was noticeably faster than when I pulled the lever the whole way. I also noticed that my 3 point was slow raising. Not super slow, but noticeable. When the 3 point would raise, the tractor was making that HST whining as it would raise up. The noise finally stopped after raising and lowering a the 3 point a few times and also started raising at normal speed again.

I also noticed that if the bucket is curled forward, if I put the edge of the bucket on the ground, it would curl back faster due to the weight of the bucket, but when I would raise the bucket, it would curl forward again on it's own.

BTW, how do you check if a QD failed? I took them off and I can push on the inside and there is tension.

Have you tried feathering the curl function to see if the cylinders retract smoothly. Try slowly increasing the retract speed to see if you can or see a change in speed or in the hoses that would indicate pressure building. If yes then I would also suspect a failing quick disconnect half. Either half can fail.

Sometimes they will work at lower flows and then act like a restriction at higher flows

Seriously doubt new tune is the problem since the Dump function works correctly

My local dealer picked up the tractor last Tuesday. They found out the issue is with the one coupler. Oldslo, I think you called this one. They said that just the one coupler needs replaced to fix it, but recommended to replace all of them, so I am. The tractor is under warranty but the FEL is not. They are going to try to get part of the bill covered under good faith with Kubota. I should have it back next week.
