You might look @ www.power-trac.com, they have the boom mower with the hydraulic motor available that you could probably coble to your bucket.

ACTUALLY THE GUY CAME BACK TODAY TO FINISH UP WHAT HE DID NOT GET the other day, he did a little extra on my corner, and as it was lunch time i told him to pull in driveway and have his lunch, so we sat in the garage and shot the bull, i gave him fresh coffee and a peice of the brides home made punkin pie, then i got to sit in the cab /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif that is one sweet tractor.

Same thing happened to me a few months back. As I was driving in, I saw the NH TS115 with that mower cutting brush hanging near the sides of the road. That mower was really chomping it all up as though it were nothing.
The big NH was very impressive and I just pulled over and watched for a while.
I wish I had the need and the room for a great tractor and mower setup like that. Just for the fun of it. John

the way my 9 acres is laid out , with permimeter aroung the woods, and the clear cuts i have i m probably looking at about 3000 ft of brush that keeps growing , faster than i can keep up with it, but i can;t justify a rig like that but sure would be nice to have for a day or so every few years, could get rid of that thorny crap real quick /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Our neighbour had mower like that some years ago. I saw one designed for a 3 pt. hitch the other day.

I've longed for this type of mower for years. There are several brands out there with some of them small enough to go on machines as small as about 40hp. The small ones go for about $12k. Usually there is a large oil tank located on the opposite side from the boom for counterweight. As far as heads go, they are interchangable. I've pretty much decided on a flail head if and when I get one for my TN. The ones I'm looking at are about 18-22k depending on options.
