Interesinting. 2 points.

1. Wroughtn_harv seems to have pretty much already invented one. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

2. Delivery from UK is prohibitive.

That would be a very nice tool to have for doing fencing. Is there anyplace in the US that you can buy one? Any contact #'s in that article? If you can get rfd-tv they have a couple shows on their that deal with these little known implements, craftsman, alternate farming/ranching. If you're a farmer, rancher, horseperson, or even a hobby farmer rfd-tv is a great station to watch.

Richard,

It was an ad toward the back of the magazine. It didn't list a US contact. It said for further information phone: John on 07966 285240 or Steve on 07931 511090.

Richard,

One of my friends has rfd-tv and she said it is really great. When I get a dish, it will be one of the first channels I add.

Interesting tool!!! ... but $1500 is a lot of money. I think that there are several guys on this board that could lash one together for a lot less, Wroughtn harv for one, but it's good to have photos for a starting point. I'm going to file this one away just in case I have a future need.

Where is RFD-TV???

I believe that it comes on Dish Network. It comes as an additional package.

You can get it with Dish or Direct Tv. With Direct Tv you have to have the oblong dish to get it. With Dish it's standard. The only two reasons I have satellite are for RFD-Tv and to watch the rodeos, cuttings, reinings, etc. Here is the website for RFD. www.rfd-tv.com.

cboy, it is obvious you have no young'n still in the house or else you would have added 'Sponge Bob Square Pants' to your list. RFD is a good station. I also like watching 'Texas Contry Reporter'. It gives me ideas of things fairly local I would like to do.

Actually a 6 & and 8 year old Charlie. They are so into the ranching, cattle, and horses though that they watch the programs with us. We're usually at the barn riding or out working pretty much all day so their tv time is pretty limited.
