Mine have definitely gotten trap smart. On top of that I think I'm feeding every dove and raccoon for miles. Door was even tripped last night and nothing inside, not even a grain of corn. I may have to put out the coon trap and wait till the hogs return to get back to them.

I have a friend who has trapped several hundred in SC. He baits his traps with corn soaked with diesel. According to him, pigs love it but nothing else will eat it. He says this keeps deer, coons and other critters away from his bait.

I never herd of diesel before.

Soured corn works well too. Put some corn in a 5 gallon pail with some water and let it sit a few days to sour.
