My brother had a Chevy 327 crammed into a Ford Capri. Fast little car, but everything was tight.

How 'bout the guy I met years ago who put an injected Corvette 327 into an Austin-Healey 3000? He had to reach around the front tires to get at the plugs....

Since we are telling war stories, a guy I went to school with, had an uncle who shoehorned in a 460 into a Pinto!

How did he do that, remove all the inner fender?
Bet that had totally unstable handling.
Must have been a hoot to drive.

It would have been about 1983 I saw a VW bug with a blown big block Chevy in the front. It seems like the seats were more where the backseat would normally be.

IIRC yes it did not have inner fenders, and he beefed up the front axle somehow to handle the extra weight, probably twice what the pinto came with!
