I run Chrome, but the security people want IE. They've tried for endless hours with turning off antivirus, firewall, updating ActiveX, blah, blah, blah. NOTHING works. They gave up, and I will not devote any more time to their dumbass program.
They sent me a 'patch' file to try to make it work on the Macs I own, but I don't use them, and don't want to - they're my wife and daughter's....
Thanks for the thought about compat mode, I will try my daughter's Lenovo, with 7 pro possibly, once the barn connection is complete and the new base stations are installed, with the TMobile chips...
