Yeah, like they say "pics or it didn't happen ".

I did something similar with my RTV1100...Ended up taking an aluminum floor jack to the machine and used pieces of 1/2" plywood to effectively build a deck under the machine. My issue was opposite of yours, had a power angle plow on front and no trees anywhere in sight...I shall never repeat that one.
I've read several posts of people jacking up a stuck tractor but I don't understand how you would actually do that in mud? But I guess it depends on the situation?

Any chance once you get all your machinery out of that swamp you could find some way to drain it ? LOL
I wouldn't exactly call it a swamp. lol however, I don't really know what to call it? My friend refers to it as rotten. However, he felt like it would eventually dry out. The guy I initially paid to bush hog it said the same thing. however, he also advised there's a technique called a 'turtleback' where a dozer builds up the middle of a field with dirt to help it drain better. So at this point, I'm leaning more towards the wait and see approach. :)

Be careful using a come-a-long if that is what you decide. I blew a 2 ton one apart trying to pull an 8n or 9n tractor out that was buried to the axles. I don't use cheater bars on them anymore!
point noted! I found a 4ton model at homedepot.com that was pretty affordable. unfortunately, it didn't have very good reviews. I may have to check out tractor supply...

Use enough winch and it should come right out.

Maybe I can invest in a good winch if I ever get a trailer. As it stands now, I have to call someone anytime I have an equipment failure. Luckily my ztr is still under warranty so the dealer comes and picks it up for free. However, I doubt that will still be the case in approximately 3.5 years. lol

If I remember Zachary correctly, it was pretty much ALL swamp:eek:

I'm not familiar with Zachary Seafood? I've only been here for less than a year. However, Tony's Seafood in Baton Rouge is still in business and should be able to scratch your itch. ;)

Here is the pole vault event.

The other event is hurdles, in which the timber had one end chained to each wheel, and the tractor drives over it. Reposition as needed.

ditto... the only reason I opened this thread was to see a stuck pic!
Well I apologize for making you waste that precious mouse click. I hope you didn't get a finger sprain or any other injury in the process. :)

Maybe I'll try uploading some pics again if I can ever figure it out. However, I'm warning you now that they're not all that exciting... Now the ones of the stranded ztr and Tacoma on the other hand were pretty epic! My wife made a point of sharing those with all of her closest family and friends. lol

I didn't think it was going to work once I saw the board break. lol Before watching the video, the picture I had in my mind was the back of the tractor being raised by the boards. But it appears they were simply using the boards for traction.

Too bad. Zachary Seafood was there maybe 15 years ago. It used to be on Main St. a bit to the west of "downtown". Looks like they built the Winn-Dixie there. Maybe they moved and re-named it as "Tucker's Seafood". Used to be both CHEAP and GOOD. Sold whole brown paper sacks full-o mudbugs for maybe $10-$12. MMMMmmmmmmmm.....

Hope you got the tractor out by now.
