Dealer Fifty Kubotas at one dealer?

Just got back from visiting the largest Kubota dealer in Kansas. Super nice dealer...he had bunches of new B2910's, Bx's and oodles of L series. Some had just come in yesterday. Dealer said he had about 25 on the lot and 25 in crates. I had never seen this many Kubotas in one spot before.
My point to this post is that if there are Kubota shoppers in Kansas, then check out this dealer - 20 miles north of Wichita in a little town called Whitewater.

Bought my BX2200 there. Checked with another dealer closer to me, and he didn't act like he cared if he sold me one or not. I went to this dealer and felt like I was treated well.

The delivery man spent over an hour showing me all the bells/whistles, making sure I knew as much as I could to be safe.

Haven't dealt with them since the purchase in July, but I'm happy with them so far.

While on vacation, I passed Nelson Tractor in Blairsville GA. Kubota, New Holland and John Deere...New and used. The attached photo is a sample of what was outside on display. Probably about 40 tractors plus some small stuff inside.

My wife had to drag me away...

I'll have to stop by Nelson Tractor the next time that I am up that way. This picture was taken at Goss Tractor & Equipment in Jasper, Georgia in late November.

Fellas, I was at Normangee Texas this afternoon looking at a B7800. They had at least 100 Kubotas on their lot. They claim to be the number Kubota dealer in the US. The price they quoted was mid way between good and great. The Houston Rodeo and Livestock show begins in about 3 weeks and Kubota will have special pricing on certain package tractors. I am waiting to see what is available.

I pass right by this dealer on my way back home to my parents place from Oklahoma. Of course I never just pass by, but have to go look at all the new Kubotas. I am amazed at such a large Kubota dealer seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Got an excellent price there on my last Kubota, a BX22 scale model. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Vernon, of course I was a Kubota owner and have a preference for them, and Normangee Tractor also has their own web site, but have you been to the other tractor dealer in Normangee? J-5 Tractors is a Zetor dealer, and I got invited and went to their annual "Hay Day" a few years ago. I don't know whether they still have that or not, but it sure was a good free barbecue and got to watch some interesting demonstrations of several different makes and models of hay equipment being pulled by air-conditioned Zetors. They also sent a repairman to my neighbor's place about 3 times (well over a hundred miles) to work on his hay baler, so they provide good service.

I was somewhat surprised that my Kubota dealer in McMinnville, Oregon had the best priced package I have seen anywhere. No sales tax helps. My point is that larger inventory may mean more overhead. It also depends how bad the dealer wants your business.
After owning my Kubota now for two years, I have finally decided to perform all the maintenance work myself. I will still bring it back to the dealer for a yearly physical examination. I consider this cheap insurance for $100. This is another reason why the dealer is really important part of your purchasing decision
