Always the ignorant that like to stir the pot. You must be a barrel of laughs at a party.

Look up ignorant before you respond...
Maybe you don't understand how solar works, which might explain your position. You either store it in batteries, or you do net metering.
Maybe educate on the subject before you start blowing smoke...

Well by golly and gee wizz I did as you said to and it sure looked like your picture!!!!

Net metering is only on residential grid tied homes.
Most locations do not allow batteries on grid tied systems, just for your information.
Large scale solar power systems are directly grid tied and feed back into the grid.
So mayhaps you should follow your own advice before you start popping off.

What locations do not allow for grid tied battery systems? Is this a locality thing or state?

I should have worded it as net metering residential systems are not allowed to have batteries by most utiities. If not grid tied for net metering they likely wouldn't know.

I never said grid tied battery systems. There was an "or" between them. English 101 starts next week...

It's a misnomer that we have gotten used to. just like;
gravy train
Fox News
buffalo wings
ladybug
Call it what you will but the bottom line is it’s their property and as long as they meet the law, shouldn’t they be able to use it as they want?

This is the view from my back porch. Imagine if it became the second picture?View attachment 794117View attachment 794118
Imagine all you want....

IF you want your view to remain the same....BUY THE LAND.

This is the fundamental mentality difference between the two sides to this issue....

Some people buy land and expect that the view beyond their boundaries will never change. Others accept the fact that they have no control on what happens beyond their own land.

Would a superimposed Walmart or amazon distribution center make the view any better? Or what about a chicken farm?

The same could be asked about trailer parks.
Maybe instead of solar farms for neighbors....trailer parks would be better for those complaining??

One thing not discussed is population growth. The worlds population grows at about 67 million per year. That being said, people are moving EVERYWHERE. More are moving to cities so cities have to grow and take over farm land. Some chose not to live in cities so country life is getting more crowded too. As long as the human race continues to multiply, the planet will get more densely populated. More people means we need more energy, fuel, food, and housing. The question is...which one of those needs are we going to run out of first?
The US birth rate is now less than 2 children per couple.
