Looking good!Just got the water report in the mail from our driller. Looks very good.
I don't think we will need Mughal filtration of any kind at all, thank goodness!
Hope you can read these pics okay from my phone.

Our house had a little pleated filter enclosed within a plastic screw-on cover (screw @ top; hung down). It just took a "whole house" filter element bought at Lowes. Needed it, even after about 25 years, to take out small amounts of troublesome sand particles. Had to put in a sodium carbonate bed when the water went slightly acidic (copper pipes can't take). Vendor said we didn't need the filter, as the bed will catch sand particles. It does. Didn't notice pressure drop on the pleated filter, but it's probably about 5 to 10 psi through the carbonate bed. Having well drilled in Madison county in Texas and will be close to 400 feet as soon as weather permits. May I ask who drilled it.
if you do put in some type of sediment filter, use the pleated or wound cartridge, not charcoal. I have the sediment filter before the water softener and when I put a charcoal cartridge in, our 20gpm when to < 1 within a week. The well company said that charcoal needs to be AFTER the softener as iron interacts with the charcoal and it clogs that quick. They convinced me to just use the wound and life has been good since. Oh, our well was 306' into the Raritan aquifer and the pump is hung at 210'.
