You said that there isn't a backup LS dealer in your area. To me, that would pretty much be a deal-breaker, especially since you're using the tractor to produce your income. I'm just guessing at your numbers here, but 2 weeks of downtime waiting for a part could likely make up the price difference between that LS and a comparably sized and equipped Kubota. Also, if the Kubota dealer works with other farms in your area, they will likely be better to deal with for on-site repairs or providing a loaner if needed.
Regarding implements, with a few exceptions, anything one of these tractors would use can be hauled behind even a little Toyota truck in a landscape trailer. The King Kutter is a lower priced brand, but they seem to hold up well. Used implements are much harder to find in your neck of the woods than here in the Midwest, which is too bad.
Also, regarding the HST whine, how much throttle did you give it? The whine will be pretty well reduced at higher RPMs. Good luck with your decision, and keep us posted.
