I'm creating this thread to possibly help people pricing a 110....hope it helps! I got 4 prices total when pricing the 110,each price included the same specs......110 tractor w/r4 tires, loader w/standard skid steer style coupler, hoe, three function loader valve w/front and rear couplers(2 in front and 6 in rear)seventh function backhoe valve,55 amp alternator, rear work lights, reversible pads,72" heavy duty bucket,72" heavy duty 4 in 1 bucket, quick coupler for the hoe,24" and 16" heavy duty quick coupler hoe buckets, three point hitch(arms and top link)......whew.....I think thats all most everything you can put on it,but I figured at least I'd have it if I needed it.The price I finally agreed on w/the dealer I chose was $ 41,500 for everything above, the other prices I recieved were anywhere from $2000 to $6000 more,it just goes to show shopping around pays off.If any of you guys (or gals for that matter) have any questions about any of the options please ask,I'll be more than happy to explain!

Mike,
I am located in Connecticut and the dealer I made the deal w/beat the best price I got by $1000.They also know my location is high profile and that I'll probably have one of the first 110's in CT and it'll have their sticker on it.My advice would be to play one dealer against another, and be honest,it also wouldn't hurt to throw in the fact you could run right out and buy an L48 tomorrow as opposed to buying a machine sight unseen....let us know how you make out!

Just thought I'd put this out there....I priced the 110 on JD's configurator just the way I ordered it and it came out to $48489-keep in mind they are all list prices there, but it should give you an idea how a dealer is pricing it for you. I also have ordered a severe service skid plate and stabilizer gaurds, these two items are not available through the configurator, but they are mentioned at the very bottom of the page, those two items added about $430 to my price and that does not include installation, the dealer wanted to charge me 6-8 hours of labor to install both items, needless to say I'll be installing them myself.I saw these two items on a 110 and if it takes more than a couple of hours to install I'd be shocked.

tgello,
Funny,I bought my machine from W.I. Clark!!I live in Bethel and dealt w/Clarks "outside" salesman Chris, but I have talked to Gary a few times.Chris has been a great guy to work with and has gone out of his way to make sure I am pleased w/everything.I am actually working on getting a skid steer w/a harley rake from Clark until my machine comes in.When I get my machine you are more than welcome to come and check it out if you want or if you are close enough......small world isn't it!!

8.99% financing rate??!!!

I spoke w/my dealer the other day and he said that he has not gotten any word on financing rates through JD,other than the "standard rate" I was approved at which was 8.99%....not to appealing to say the least, but my dealer has assured me right along that the final rate would be competitive w/Kubotas rates.Needless to say since my salesman hadn't heard anything I went to the JD web site and E mailed the credit division asking if they had any info on a financing rate for a 110 besides the unexplicably high 8.99.Well my salesman called me today and said that JD called him today and said that I was approved at 8.99 and thats what is is right now.I have to say this is leaving me with a rather sour taste, why should the rate on a completely new machine, that I would imagine JD would want to get out to contractors and hasen't even proved itself yet,be quite higher than the other compacts, skid steers, excavators, and all most anything else Deer sells. If anyone else who bought a 110 has any info about rates please pass along the info,it would be greatly appreciated!

Re: 8.99% financing rate??!!!

I financed my tractor ten years ago through my credit union. It was essentially a new car loan, but when statements came in it was described as "tractor". Have you investigated other sources?

Re: 8.99% financing rate??!!!

Steve,
I e-mailed JD again last night and they mailed me back today requesting that I call them to discuss this matter,I'm hoping they are going to say it will be the 5.9 rate just like the other compacts,if not I'm gonna start hunting around for a better rate.

Delivery date....arrrrgh!

I know a couple of other people have bought 110's here and I'm wondering if you guys are getting the run-around on the delivery date.....I only ask because a little more than a week ago I was told that it would be shipped on april 25th,which would mean I would get it this week.....my salesman called me today and told me that Deere has pushed back the ship date and I <font color=red>should</font color=red> have the machine the week of the 13th of May,as much as I want the 110 if they push back the ship date again I may have to look for something else, possibly in <font color=orange>orange</font color=orange>.

Re: Delivery date....arrrrgh!

Tags, I believe I mentioned this to you when you were considering this tractor. I knew the shipping time was going to be long. Its not just JD. GM, Ford and Dodge do it with their trucks. I think it was premature to put out sales of this tractor prior to building an inventory of it. While the wait will probably be worth it, the aggravation is a real lesson in frustration. Good Luck, Rat.

P.S. I now have well over 100 hours in the L48, your going to really enjoy the HST on your JD, especially with the loader and Harley

Re: Delivery date....arrrrgh!

Rat,
Defenitely a lesson in frustration, don't get me wrong I knew it would take time to get it,but man,if you are gonna give me a date, stick to it!!I would've rather had them tell me June originally, that way if it showed up in May I'd be happy and JD would look like the good guy,the way they are addressing it is kinda childish, just gimme the date, and ship my machine!!!Enough ranting..........I do have to say every time I see an L48 or read a post about one I think,I coulda had one of them months ago,I just hope its worth all the waiting, because we all know...."The waaaaiiiiiiiiting is the haaaaarrrrrrrdest part"/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Re: Delivery date....arrrrgh!

I'm still waiting for my 110 else well. I called the dealer today to see when it would arrive. He said middle of May. This was the date he originally told me. Later said it would possibly be in sooner. He did tell me he heard rumors that there was one at another dealership, 20 minutes from me. Well my wife and I, sister and dog went for an ice cream in that direction and then drove to the delearship. There it was sitting with all those greens. Since they were closed I was still able to take a good look. Sit in it etc. I have to say it's a fine looking machine. Well I think this one is for sale I will call Monday.
My dealer told me that JD was taking orders for retail sales only. In other words a dealer was not suppose to order for inventory only. Looks like some dealers are not playing by the rules so this is possibly screwing up sold order deliveries. The only thing I can do is wait.

Re: Delivery date....arrrrgh!

Joe,
There is a strong possibility that the machine you saw was one of the prototypes making the rounds, did you happen to notice if there was white lettering on the rops,I ask because the prototypes that are out there have "names",one is labeled "rent me" another is labeled "top gun",the JD guy told me they did this because it was easier to identify a name rather than a serial # when they were testing them.Anyway if it is a new one doesn't it seem strange that they would only ship one to a dealer so close and not ship yours at the same time? Also I was wondering what you have for a financing rate, did you go through Deere or did you go your own route?

Re: Delivery date....arrrrgh!

Well Tags if you want that 110 it's yours for $36k. It has a standard heavy duty bucket and 18" hoe. No rear work lights. I figured it's pricier then the quote I got with that set up. They told me they have two more coming in. Looks like they jumped ahead of the line. At least ahead of us. I called my dealer and told him I was a little ticked off. If JD is delivering display units all over the place it could take a while before they get around to filling legitimate orders. I'm waiting one more week and then this tractor is going to become a better deal for me. I'm getting excited over the thought already. By the way I'm not using JD for financing.

Re: Delivery date....arrrrgh!

Naaaah, don't really want that one, especially after doing all the work to get the price I got on mine w/all the goodies, allthough I do have to say hearing a dealer has one before a paying customer really !@#$%^&* me off, especially since they have had my deposit for a while now, anyway complaining ain't gonna help so I'll just bite my nails for another week or so and see what happens! Also Joe what is name of the dealer who has it??

Re: Delivery date....arrrrgh!

Chad Little in Brunswick, Me. They cater to the affluent coastal people. My dealer in Auburn, Delekto Bros. (Ag dealer) has been around since 1946. Same family. I didn't put a deposit down, just a handshake. That's good enough there. My family has been trading with them since the late fifties. I'm not desperate for it so I just need to keep it out of my head and be patient. I got plenty of other stuff to occupy my mind with anyways. So the operative word is patience at least for this month.
