Finally Arrived...My 4720 Cab

Man im jealous! Thats a nice looking machine. I do landscaping for my business and so i already have a small machine. Ive been considering a skid steer or a 4720 for a while now. A skid steer from Deere or Cat is still more expensive and would be so **** heavy i couldnt use it on some properties. Do you know what this thing weighs? 4k, 6k, 8k?

I think the dealer said about 5000 pounds with the tires loaded.......Makes sense cause she's 4300 from the factory with a Cab and add at least 1000 pounds for the loaded tires......

I just realized that I never got the tool box that I ordered originally, so I called my dealer and he said that they couldnt't put it on cause of the loader......I am not near my tractor, so does anyone else have a tool box mounted in the front with a loader? Did the dealer just forget?

There is not a lot of room to hang things on this one that does not interfer with something else.

Also did some discing the other day, Full throttle, front wheel assist and occasionally locked rear wheels (unloaded), cruise on, and about 3.7 mph ate a tank of diesel in about 7 hrs so about 2 gal per hour, which i thought was quite reasonable.

No, the dealer is correct. On my 5525 is is on the right side loader bracket.

It should illegal to sell a tractor without a tool box - IMHO.

My JD 3720 has the tool box and FEL. It comes with a bracket and mounts under the front corner of the cab and just in front of the step. The loader mounts are not an issue. The 4x20 series uses the same cab. May want to recheck if it will work.
