This is my blower set up. You can just see the pto clutch behind the hydraulic cylinder for the blower.

Hello LHoyer,

How do you like your snowblower? I believe I have the same one (Kubota B-648A Snow Caster).

How does it perform? Does it really throw the snow far? Is it fairly rugged? What about in heavy snowfalls?

That season is coming ......!!!

Cheers!

What a great little tractor. I bought a B6100 a few years ago and am amazed at what it will do. I'm sure you'll really happy with yours. Good luck.

If the mower deck will allow, you may want to widen the rear tire track width. Since you don't have a ROPS, the added stability would be comforting.

How do I widen the tire stance? It is a bit tippy.

I think I figured out how to widen the tires. I put a new coat of paint on the hood. The seam was rusting pretty badly on the inside of the hood. Not show car quality, needed to stop the cancer.

Notice how in rpraymond's picture above the rear hubs are turned around too. My manual doesn't mention it but mine are like that and I think it gets you a slightly wider stance.

I flipped the wheels around and slid them out to the hole that almost keeps the hub flush with the end of the axle. Could I extend the wheel out to the last hole where the axle end is inside the hub about 1/2 way or is that too far extended? The wheels still wobble a bit on the axle even after the clamping bolt is tightened up. They wobbled some before I rook them off after I jacked it up. Should they wobble on the axle even after being tightened up? Just want to make sure I don't have an unsafe condition.

Thanks

I bet that's pushing it. I have mine flush to the outside like you do. And yes, they seem to wobble a bit no matter what.

Here is the only info in the owners manual about rear wheel adjustment. If you would like any other info from the manual let me know. If it is too hard to read I'll try again.

Thanks for page form the manual.

I have the 3 holes in line on the axle and 1 hole that is rotated. The hole is between the furthest outside hole and 2nd from the outside. With the wheels flipped, this hole keeps the end of the axle almost flush with the end of the hub. Should I be using this hole or sticking with the 3 standard holes?

Maybe it doesn't matter. I just didn't want to do something unsafe.
