Hey TBN Fam, it's been a long while since I posted anything here. I got very busy and preoccupied with commercial real estate and couldn't find the time to discuss my hobby and love of tractors with you guys like I once did in the past. The time away has been good for me as I had an opportunity to evaluate many things that kept me on the fence about buying another tractor and I finally came to clarity about what was right for me to do in my personal situation. I patiently waited 5 years to make my tractor purchase. I evaluated every brand and dealership in my market hoping I would find the "right dealer" to purchase from but I eventually came to the conclusion that there was no such dealer in my market. I did find a dealer east of me that was willing to be flexible to some extent on price but there were other sticking points that made the potential of doing business with them a gamble at best. A few weeks ago I randomly decided to browse the local classifieds on FB market place and found a Ford 3600 for sale that appeared to be in very good condition. The seller had what I thought was a very good and fair price on it so I decided to go take a look at it. To my surprise, the tractor was in much better condition then what it appeared to be in the pictures he sent me. After about an hour and half of looking everything over, checking fluids and filters and taking it for a test drive, I could find no reason to not purchase it. I had already negotiated a price on it with the seller before I had arrived but after seeing it was in much better condition then I initially understood I decided to give him more then what I originally bargained for. Everyone was happy and by a miracle of God we were able to get it back to my place the same night. Here is a picture of my new tractor. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
