Since the recent push to all these no spill environmentally friendly portable gas cans I've been having issues with spouts breaking, leaking, and not releasing pressure without a massive spill out if it's hot outside. I noticed Honda gas cans the last time I went up to the local Honda dealer to get some new blades for the mower. They had some of these over priced gems, initially I thought $21 was way over the top for a freakin' gas can but after using it I see they are really worth it, no more problems with this bad boy...it's the best can I've used yet. If you're unhappy with the new Enviro-nozzles give one of these a shot you won't be disappointed.

Interesting. I hate the no spill cans (especially the plastic ones that come on steel military jerry cans now, sheesh).

Do they have yellow for diesel?

I'm not sure on the diesel cans, they didn't have any where I purchased my gasoline one but I'm not sure if you could order them or not.

Thanks for the heads up, mine isn't affected. I'm surprised they recalled them, the dang enviro (??) brand ones I got from Tractor Supply leak all over and I never saw them recalled :(

It's also nice to see they are branded under other names, I might be able to get them cheaper at other places:thumbsup:

I have one of these cans and the nozzle cracked. I emailed the comany and they sent me the whole cap and spout assembly free. They fixed the cracking problem with the way they mold the nozzle (they said).
It is much better than the Blitz junk.
I have spilled more gasoline with my Blitz cans than I ever did with my old Eagle cans.

I had (HAD) one of those diesel cans with the nozzle that gets pushed back when you stick it in the tank. It broke and a whole part of nozzle is now in the tank.(forever)
I hate to spend the bucks on one of those NH pump stations (about $350+) but it looks like it's coming to it.

Can't any body make a decent can!?!

The Honda one you push on the green button, that's it no pushing back the valve or depressing a special lock to open it up. It's a good can, that's why I posted about it, I've been going through the same crap I've tried pretty much all of them and the Honda one is the only decent one I've tried so far.
