We got about 8-10" Friday evening. Sent my 12 year old daughter out to shovel the walks before she got to drive the tractor. She lost interest in shoveling reeeeal quick! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif I told her if she didn't shovel, she couldn't drive the tractor. She said, "Fine!". To which I replied, "O.K., but you still have to shovel the walk." Ouch! If looks could kill. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif She finished the walk with the help of her 7 year old sister who was just doing it to egg the older kid on. Her attitude changed pretty quick and she apologized, so I plowed the hard stuff around the cars and garage and let her do the straight part. She had some fun and learned a lesson. Of course, I had to give her the old, "When I was a kid, our driveway was 5 times as long as this and I had to shovel it all by hand. Sometimes it took me 3 days to finish... " speech. I'm saving my "I had to walk miles to school while sharing one shoe with my 4 sisters..." speech for later /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
