( So what's the first project going to be?

Well, we're in the process of building a house so there's alot of dirt to be moved and ground to be leveled!!!! That should keep me busy for awhile!!! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif )

You are in the same boat I am. I bought an L3130 w/513 loader Thursday, and it will be delivered this coming Friday. It's already been a long 3 days. We are just starting a house too, and that is why I bought. I haven't gotten a mower yet, because the dirt doesn't need mowed.

Hope our waits go quick.

Did you buy a box blade also? When I bought it, my wife said, "When are you ever going to use something like that?"
Since we finished building our house last summer, we used it to do our grading before we planted our grass. This spring, we plan on bringing in several truckloads of dirt, so it will see even more use. Besides, having the weight on the back acts as a counterweight for the front end loader, so the tractor doesn't tip when lifting heavy objects in the FEL.

Whereabouts are you in Ohio? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I have the same last name as you. Am I related? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

P.S. You will be surprised how quickly the grass comes in once it's planted! You'll be using the tractor with the mower before you know it!

I am in Bellefontaine.

My brother has a box blade I will start with. But I'm sure I will end up with one of my own. I figured I have a little time to decide on a mower, and it shouldn't be too hard to come up with one. At some time I would like to get the front snow blower. We will have a 550' drive to keep clean. Just another toy to add to the collection. And I might even be able to justify it to my wife????

Don't think we are related. Don't have any relation over that way. My brother is up on the west side of Cleveland, but none around Youngstown.

(wait a minute, I just realized I'm the only one without an orange tractor /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I'll have to see if I can get PineRidge to tag along /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif)

AndyM,
We would never pick on you over tractor color... Well, not much /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The handiest thing I can think to add would be a set of forks for the bucket.

Did your new tractor show up yet, John?

I haven't heard a peep from you lately. Hopefully, it's because you're busy getting seat time on the new Kubota! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Stonebase: congrats on your new "tool"- I am curious is the dealer you bought from is in Doylestown, PA? When I got the power steering add-on kit for my old B8200, it was that dealer who had one they'd found gathering dust in their warehouse... Nice little town, and seemed like a nice dealership, too.

That would be Histand, one of the three Kubota dealers in this area. There is also a dealer just north of Doyletown in Pipersville and Mid-State Equipment just over the Delaware river in New Jersey. Both Histand and Mid-State are good dealers in my experience and I suspect the other one is, too, but I've never stopped there. Histand supplied my BX2200 (previous machine) when I traded in a nice L210 after buying this property back in 1999. My BX22 came from MidState a little over a year ago. No complaints about either dealer; both have excellent service, too. It came down to the deal.

And yes, Doylestown is a wonderful town to visit or live near. Lot's of great history, social and cultural things to see, too, in the area.

Hey San Mar,
It has been a couple of months now since you purchased the tractor. Just wanted to see how you liked it. Power? LA513? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
