Finally took the plunge

Today I finally committed to my first compact tractor a 2003 B2410. I'm hoping to run it many troublefree years. It has 360 hrs and no loader. How many hours will one of these little horses run if maintained well? Thanks to all who helped with the decision. Nice to have a place to visit.

I am not trying to be a smartass, but probably your forever, and I don't even know how old you are. I have a Wisconsin single cylinder gasoline engine that runs my log splitter that was built in 1955 and will most assuredly outlive me. My new Kubota I am sure will also outlive me at 60. I will probably take better care of it.

Anyway we need some pictures.

Take the number of hours per year that you feel you'll put on it and divide 5000( a VERY conservative number!!) by that number. I average approx 100 hrs a year, so that puts the lifes span on mine at about 50yrs!! Again, with minimal care they will go many hours beyond the 5000 given!

Yep... looked at a trade-in @ the local dealer with nearly 4000hrs on it, and no major repairs. You will get many years of service out of you new-to-you tractor with just routine maintenance.

Beautiful setup. I see you haven't taken advantage of the upgraded seat, however. You should call your dealer and ask about the seat upgrade for B's and BX's. Just got mine and it's WAY more comfortable.

A lot of dealers are doing it for free.
