I did the 0% finance thing with Kubota and there were no problems. I had to put down my HO Insurance Policy Number on the paperwork, I assume Kubota called G#I@o to verify.
Their online/automatic payment system worked perfectly and they sent a paid in full notice within 3 weeks of the final payment. Much better than any mortgage co or car co I have ever dealt with.
I would do it again, and might, if I can get a backhoe for my B2910 at 0%.

The Kubota insurance is about .80 cents per $1000.00 per month. Kubota requires that you have "All Risk Insurance" Most Home Owners policies won't do it. Kubota's insurance has excellent coverage, Even accidental Damage is covered! Only $250.00 Deductible!

My Travelers insurance said they covered the tractor but they wouldn't make Kubota the loss payee if something happened to it. I ended up getting the Kubota insurance.

I have got KFB and mine is listed seperately on a farm policy. Are you talking about liability or theft?

I just purchased a bx24 in july 09 and the insurance for the 60 month loan in Massachusetts was $700.00 for the life of the loan. One thing that the kubota insurance covers that homeowners DOES NOT is damage that you may cause, say for example you run over a rock and break the hydro fan $$$ repair. All it would cost you is a $250.00 deductable. For me it was about even steven as far as the cost of going thru kubota or my homeowners, but considering the extra mechanical coverage it was a no brainer, also when the loan ends you will have to revert to your homeowners anyway.

What Emerichsales says. The coverage is very well. If you break it or you loan it to a friend and they break it, on you're property or off, only a $250 deductable. I think that there are only 2 exceptions to the coverage, which is abuse and normal wear and tear.
