I cut my fields with a 72" finish mower. This is buffalo grass, yuccas, weeds, weeds, and more weeds....
Does a great job, better than a brush cutter mower. I do cut it when it's about a foot to 16" high, down to about 6".
Never had a problem in the past 4 years doing so..... well, 1 issue, my go-pro fell off the tractor and I chopped it into a million pieces!
