I just finished adding an additional cylinder to lift the mid mount mower or any other mid mount accessory like my 72” mid mount grader blade. I just could not tolerate not having independent control over my MMM. I added a Parker cylinder style BC3L, 2” bore with 1” rod and 7/8”X14 thread and having a 2 ½” stroke, controlled by a Parker D1VL1CN directional valve mounted on the ROPS support strut under the left fender. I connected my hydraulics supply line into the outlet side of the pump and the return line was connected into the PTO return to sump line I ran tubing ever where except at the cylinder where I used two short hoses because of the small vertical movement of the cylinder.
If anyone really wants to do this mod and needs help then just let me know and I will try to clear up any questions. It is not for the faint of heart and was a little expensive but worth all of the work and expense and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Good luck
