Finishing Off Inside of Barn

Bob,
In a "previous life" or so it seems, I installed insulation and I still itch from it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif .
You want the un-faced/friction fit insulation with a minimum 4 mil visqueen/plastic on the INSIDE . Then cover it with finished material as you see fit. Try to keep the plastic sheeting intact, only pentrating it when you nail/screw on the finished material.

Here's a picture of the outside of our barn. I needed a sample pic so I could figure out how to attach.

This weekend I will take some "before" pics of the inside.

Nice looking building Bob. I think you've got the right idea in finishing this off. In my neighborhood, I see folks with these types of buildings convert them to home residences. Well worth the effort.

A shot of the 3 future occupants--they've promised to be less messy than the current residents.

Actually they will be in the barn on a limited basis (as weather dictates), but they will gain a very large running area outside.

Thanks Bob,

As you can tell--these are "before" pics. Next weekend I plan on cleaning the barn out and removing all unnecessary boards, nails, dividers, etc. so I will snap a couple of pics after it's cleaned up.
