Mine is a CAT Model 35 and I tow it with my Kubota. Son is the operator. <img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=490743"/>
That's pretty cool

A friend of mine is a steel scrapper. He called me and asked if I wanted this grader, the owner had died and heirs were scrapping it. I paid $300 for it. Brought it home, greased it and started using it. Only thing not currently working is the wheel lean of both axles. Best part was that a childhood mentor of mine had it and used to operate it. I am honored to have it. :)

Really cool to see them still used.

there are a few of these around my area as "yard art" I would love to find one for use!

Yeah, here too. I'm very Blessed to have this one. My Son loves running it and is quite good at it. After a couple hours of use all I have to do is drive down the middle of the road. He steers the grader wherever he wants to run. Very flexible machine.

No matter haw nice a job U will do those delivery trucks will find any weak spots.
Do prepare a "rough" roadway but wait 'til the project is almost over B4planning any finish work.
Coarse rock in any soft areas (let delivery vehicles compact it) th finer stone if needed for traction on slopes.
As time and work goes by you'll decide what and where more stone/gravel is needed.
Trying to be perfect from start will be $$'s and still need corrections.
\Besides delivery trucks will provide free compaction.

This is the grader my FIL used to own, to grade their 1/2 mile neighborhood drive in VA. He sold it yrs ago when they paved the road. took me awhile to find, knew I had a pic somewhere...

That makes me think of the classic movie "DeathRace 2000".
